Purpose: This article describes how to manage your EPCS tokens and shows how to add and reactivate tokens.
Audience: iPrescribe users who went through the self-registration process.
Navigating To Your EPCS Token Management Page
Start on the iPrescribe app, then follow the steps outlined below:
1: Tap the menu icon on the top-left side of your screen, then click Settings.
2: Tap Manage Authenticators.
You are now on the Token Management page.
Adding New Tokens
If you have not yet added a token, you will be prompted to enter your login password and a code from an existing token.
1: Enter the requested information, then tap Confirm. On the next screen, tap Add New Token.
2: Follow these steps in chronological order and refer to the screenshot below:
(A) Tap the drop-down menu (second line), and select the type of token you are using.
- VIP Access App
- Symantec Hard Token
- OneSpan Hard Token
(B) Choose a nickname for the token you are currently adding.
(C) Enter your token serial number (fourth line). If you are using the VIP Access App token, you will need to enter your Credential ID.

(D) Enter the temporary 6-digit code generated by the token.
(E) Tap Add New Token.
You have successfully added your token and will see it on the Token Manager screen from step 1.
Reactivating Tokens
You can reactivate tokens that you have disabled by going to your Token Manager screen.
1: Navigate to the Token Manager screen.
2: Tap Reactivate for the token you want to reactivate.
