View a patient's PDMP record

Purpose: PDMP integration in iPrescribe facilitates PDMP checks, enabling providers to prevent prescription drug abuse and comply with state mandates. This guide details how to access a patient's Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)/Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) data in iPrescribe.
Audience: Providers using the iPrescribe mobile app to e-prescribing controlled substances (EPCS)

Access through the PDMP button

1. Click PDMP on the home screen or in the iPrescribe menu to access the PDMP search.

2. Search for the patient.

3. Click to view the patient's PDMP results

Access in the patient's PDMP record

1. Click New RX on the home screen to search for the patient's profile.

2. Search for the patient's name and select the patient from the list.

3. In the patient record, View the PDMP CHECK section. You will see "No records found" for patients with no PDMP information. You will see Records found if there is a PDMP record available. Click to view the record.

4. Click Records found to view a patient's PDMP record.
