Applies to: Rcopia (web), iPrescribe (mobile app)
Purpose: This article informs Rcopia and iPrescribe users of a required browser and OS update needed to maintain PDMP access before the August 1, 2026 deadline, and explains what action to take.
Audience: Rcopia web users and iPrescribe mobile app users who access PDMP reports and need to verify or update their browser or device OS to stay compliant.
What's changing
On August 1, 2026, you'll need an up-to-date browser or mobile OS to view PDMP reports in Rcopia and iPrescribe. If your browser or device is outdated, you may lose access to PDMP reports after that date.
Our partner Bamboo Health is making this change to meet security and HITRUST compliance requirements.
Supported browsers (Rcopia)
Use the current version or one version back of any of these browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge (Chromium)
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari (macOS and iOS)
Important Note: Internet Explorer will no longer work for PDMP access after August 1, 2026.
Note: Bamboo Health's browser requirements may differ from DrFirst's standard browser policy. See the DrFirst Browser Policy for full details.
Supported OS versions (iPrescribe)
- iOS: Check with your device settings to ensure your OS is up to date
- Android: Check with your device settings to ensure your OS is up to date
