Purpose: This article informs E-Prescribing Desktop and iPrescribe users of a required browser and OS update needed to maintain PDMP access before the August 1, 2026 deadline, and explains what action to take.
Audience: E-Prescribing Desktop and iPrescribe users
What's changing
On August 1, 2026, you'll need an up-to-date browser or mobile OS to view PDMP reports in E-Prescribing Desktop and iPrescribe. If your browser or device is outdated, you may lose access to PDMP reports after that date.
Our partner Bamboo Health is making this change to meet security and HITRUST compliance requirements.
Internet Explorer will no longer work for PDMP access after August 1, 2026.
Bamboo Health's browser requirements may differ from DrFirst's standard browser policy. See the DrFirst Browser Policy for full details.
