Step 7: Sign up for PDMP in iPrescribe

Purpose: Explain how providers can begin setting up PDMP for iPrescribe.
Audience: Providers who activated EPCS in iPrescribe and want to add PDMP to their in-app workflow.
Prerequisite: Step 5: Activate EPCS in iPrescribe

How do I request access to PDMP in iPrescribe?

If PDMP is supported in your state, you can generate an email with enrollment steps from either the iPrescribe home screen or within a patient profile.

1. Click the PDMP tile on the iPrescribe home screen.

2. The PDMP Enrollment Required window opens. Check that the email shown is accurate, then click the Send Email button.

3. Another pop-up window confirms that an email with PDMP enrollment instructions was sent.

4. Check your email for a message from hello@iprescribe.com and follow the instructions provided.

1. Within a patient profile, locate the PDMP CHECK section. If you see that PDMP is available, click Activate.

Note: setup times vary by state and PDMP vendor.  You will be notified if your state PDMP service does not allow integration with iPrescribe.
