New iPrescribe Providers Only

Note: Your EPCS activation in iPrescribe must be complete prior to adding a secondary token.

Only iPrescribe users who are doing EPCS activation via the iPrescribe app will receive a mailer (letter) after 5-10 business days.

This mailer (letter) will contain a 7-digit code required to complete EPCS activation. If you have received your mailer but not finalized your activation, please click to view iPrescribe: Steps to Scan the Mailer. Once your activation is finalized you may add a token for EPCS prescribing.

Start on the iPrescribe app on your device and sign in to your account.

1. Navigate to the action menu icon on the top left of the screen.

2. Scroll to SettingsManage Authenticators → enter your login password and authenticate with your ID.me Authenticator App (you used this during registration).

3. Once authentication is confirmed, tap Add New Token.

For the hard token (fob you received in the mail), you will:

  • Choose Symantec Hard Token or OneSpan Hard Token.
  • Choose a nickname (any name you want that will help you remember that token).
  • Enter the Serial Number, which can be found on the back of your token. For OneSpan tokens, enter the code without any spaces or dashes.

The Serial Number Format is:

  • VIP Access: SYMC########### or SYMD########### or VSST###########
  • Symantec Hard Token: AVT########### or FT###########
  • OneSpan: ###########
  • Enter the 6-Digit Code that is currently displayed on the token after pressing the power button.

If you want to add an additional soft token (VIP Access app), you will:

  • Choose VIP Access.
  • Choose a nickname (any name you want that will help you remember that token).
  • Enter the Credential ID, which is displayed in the VIP Access app.
  • Enter the 6 digit code that is currently displayed on the token.

Tap Add New Token. The token has now been added to your account.
