Enable and clear cookies

This article covers how to clear cookies on your web browser, as well as how to enable cookies on your iPhone for full functionality, and why enabling cookies is essential for accessing the Help Center without issues.

Clear browser cookies and cache

When using DrFirst Ticketing, the preferred browsers are Chrome, Edge, and Firefox; Chrome is the #1 recommended browser. See our full browser policy here.

To clear cookies and cache from your web browser select the browser you use for e-prescribing:

Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click the Menu button (three vertical dots in the top-right corner of your browser window).
  3. Select More tools.
  4. Select Clear browsing data.

5. In the Clear browsing data window, select the Time range to clear.

6. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, and then click Clear data.
Note: If you clear your browser regularly this takes only a few seconds.

FireFox

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click the Menu button (three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of your browser window).
  3. Select History.
  4. Select Clear recent history.

5. In the Clear All History window, select the Time range to clear.

6. Select Cookies and Cache, and then click OK.
Note: If you clear your browser regularly this takes only a few seconds.

Edge

  1. Open Edge.
  2. Click the Menu button (three horizontal dots in the top-right corner of your browser window).
  3. Select Settings (you will see Settings in a panel on the left or you may select the Settings menu in the upper left corner).

4. Select Privacy, search, and services.

5. Scroll to Clear browsing data (mid-page).

6. Select Choose what to clear from the Clear browsing data now line.

7. In the Clear browsing data window, select Time range to clear.

8. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, and then click Clear now.
Note: If you clear your browser regularly this takes only a few seconds.

Enable cookies

DrFirst Ticketing requires cookies, so ensure that cookies are enabled for full functionality if you are experiencing issues submitting or updating tickets, 

If cookies are disabled, you may continue to experience issues connecting to our ticketing portal.

Note: Do not use Incognito mode because cookies are disabled in this mode.

Sign-in button disabled 

If the Sign in button on your iPhone's browser appears gray, as shown below, it means the button is currently disabled. To fix this, you need to enable cookies to access the DrFirst Help Center on your iOS device.

  1. Go to your iPhone Settings.
  2. Navigate to and select Safari in your Settings list.
  3. Scroll down and select Privacy and Security.
  4. Deselect both Prevent Cross-Site Tracking and Block All Cookies.
