iPrescribe: Add a patient's medication history

Within iPrescribe, you have the ability to reconcile medications and build the active medications.

There are 2 methods for adding a medication to the active medications list. 

Method #1:

a) Pull up to one year of medication history using in app functionality

Steps for Method #1:

  • Open the iPrescribe application
  • Tap on NewRX
  • Search for a patient's name
  • Click on the "Pull Record" action under Active Medications (see image #1 below)
  • Select the intended medication and click "Add Selected" to add it to the patient's Active Medications list

Method #2: 

a) Manually adding in a medication 

Steps for Method #2:

  • Open the iPrescribe application
  • Tap on NewRx
  • Search for a patient's name
  • Select "Edit" from the Active Medications Section
  • Search for the drug and select the intended drug to add it to the patient's Active Medications list
