This article provides instructions on how you can manage your EPCS tokens.
Start by logging into the iPrescribe app
Step 1: Navigate to the action menu icon on the top left of the screen.
Step 2: Scroll to Settings → Manage Authenticators (You may have to scroll down to see this setting)
Step 3: Enter your login password and authenticate with your ID.me Authenticator App (you used this during registration) or other registered token and click Confirm.
Step 4: Once authentication is confirmed, tap Add New Token and enter details for the new token.
For the hard token (key fob you received in the mail):
- Choose Symantec Hard Token or OneSpan Hard Token.
- Choose a nickname (that will help you identify that token in a list, eg. keyfob).
- Enter the Serial Number, which can be found on the back of your token. For OneSpan tokens, enter the code without any spaces or dashes.
- Enter the 6-Digit Code that is currently displayed on the token after pressing the power button.
If you want to add an additional soft token (VIP Access app):
- Choose VIP Access App.
- Choose a nickname (that will help you identify that token in a list, eg. iPhoneX).
- Enter the Credential ID, which is displayed in the VIP Access app.
- Enter the 6-Digit Code that is currently displayed on the token
The Serial Number/Credential ID will contain no spaces or dashes:
- VIP Access: SYMC########### or SYMZ########### or VSST###########
- Symantec Hard Token: AVT########### or FT###########
- OneSpan: ###########
Tap Add New Token. The token has now been added to your account.
I took all the steps, it added the token, but it did not send the prescription in. It remains in the pending file.
