5. Tap the Get code generator button to continue.

We will send a physical code generating device (token) to the address provided. When you receive the token, you will need to add it to your iPrescribe account by following the instructions received with the fob.

6. Tap Invite reference, then enter their First NameLast Name, and Email. Tap Continue to proceed.

  • The DEA requires a reference to verify your identity before you can prescribe controlled substances. This is a one-time action and takes less than a minute for your reference to authorize you.

9. You have completed your Medical verification. Tap Continue to proceed.

If your medical credentials were not verified, please use the on-screen prompts to start or schedule a call with ID.me. The most common cause is the nicknames or initials used on paperwork and not because your credentials are truly incorrect. ID.me will manually verify your credentials.

  • Please note: the mailer is mailed separately from the hard token.  If you receive the token before receiving your mailer, please keep it in a safe place and complete your registration with the mailer when it arrives.  You may then add the hard token to your profile.

  • Can I have mailer and token be sent to my residential address and not the primary business address listed on DEA?

    0
  • Good afternoon, the mailer is sent to the primary (business) address on file with DEA, so changes to address would have to be processed through the DEA. This is a security measure to ensure compliance with DEA. The hard token, however, can be sent to the address that you were prompted to input during EPCS activation. Therefore, the address for the hard token could be different from that listed with DEA, since you would have entered it manually.
