iPrescribe: Enable microphone permissions

When using the iPrescribe app, especially to make calls via the “Call from Office” feature, it is crucial to have your microphone permissions enabled. If these permissions are not set correctly, you might encounter an alert message stating, “Please enable required permissions.” This article will guide you through the steps to enable microphone permissions for the iPrescribe app on both IOS and Android devices to ensure an easy set up and seamless calling experience.

For IOS users
  1.  Open the Settings app on your IOS device.

  2. Scroll down until you find the list of apps installed on your device. Locate iPrescribe within this list.

  3. Select iPrescribe to open the app’s specific settings.

  4. Look for the Microphone option. If the toggle next to Microphone is not green, tap it to enable access.

This action allows iPrescribe to use your device’s microphone, which is essential for making calls through the app.

For Android users
  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device.

  2. Scroll down and select Apps.

  3. Once in the Apps section of Settings, scroll until you find iPrescribe and click on it.

  4. Next, tap Permissions to view the list of available permissions for the app.

  5. Enable Microphone Permission. To change the permission setting, tap Microphone, then choose Allow.
    • Note: Android phone requires both the Microphone and Phone permissions, as pictured.
