This article will guide you through:
- Resetting a forgotten password when you can't log in.
- Note: If you never set up or forgot your security questions, submit a request to Support.
- Updating your password while logged in.
Note:
- Emails, usernames, and passwords are case sensitive. If you try to reset credentials you will need to use the same capitalized or lower cased letters as when you set up credentials.
- If you enter an incorrect password 3 times in a row, your account will be locked temporarily. After 5 minutes, you will be able to login. If you are locked out because you forgot your password, we encourage you to tap Forgot Password on the login screen and reset it when you are not in a lockout period.
If you forgot your password, you can reset it on the login page.
1. Press the Forgot Password button

2. Enter your current username and the CAPTCHA shown. Tap Recover Password.

3. Go to the email associated with your iPrescribe account:
- Search for the email subject line labeled "Request to reset your iPrescribe password"
- Once you locate your email, click the blue Reset Password link provided in the email.
Note: If you do not receive the email within 5 minutes, please check your spam filter. If you still do not have an email, submit a request to Support.

4. The email link opens a new browser window where you will answer the security questions you set up when you created the account. Answer at least 2 of your security questions, then tap Continue.
Note:
- You have 1 attempt to answer correctly to at least 2 of your security questions.

You will need to submit a request to Support to reset your password if you experience the following issues:
- You have forgotten your security questions.
- You did not previously set up security questions during registration.

5. Reset your login password:
a. Enter your New Password.
b. Re-enter the New Password.

- Create a password that has never been used on your account. The system will let you know if you entered a password already used for this account within the past 180 days.
- Passwords are case-sensitive.

6. You have successfully changed your password.

If you know your current password but want to change it, you can change your password in the iPrescribe app.
1. Open the iPrescribe app.
2. Press the Menu icon (☰) at the top left of your screen.
3. Scroll down and tap Settings → Password.
4. On the next screen, enter:
- Password: current password.
- New password: Enter your new password.
- Re-Type Password: Re-enter your new password.
5. Tap Change at the bottom of the screen.
