What are pending prescriptions?
Any prescription that has been queued up by a provider or a staff member and has yet to be signed and sent is considered a pending prescription. Up to 10 pending prescriptions can be processed at a time within iPrescribe. You can take individual action on each prescription or select multiple for bulk approval.
How to sign and send pending prescriptions?
You can Sign & Send pending prescriptions from the patient profile screen.
Start on the iPrescribe app, then navigate to the selected patient's profile screen.
- You can also start on the iPrescribe home screen and tap Pending. The number of pending prescriptions will appear as a badge count next to this section (indicated with a circle in the screenshot below).

When our providers click the pending box, it takes them to a list of all their pendings and then they just click approve below each script and it drops it into the send box at the bottom. so these instructions are not what we would give our clients. How to send isn't the issue, they were sent, the red indicator just didn't disappear.
