Alerts Overview

You may receive several types of alerts when creating prescriptions for your patients. The purpose of these alerts is to inform you of an unusual or potentially dangerous outcome to an action you are about to perform.

This article will discuss the different types of alerts within Rcopia.

Clinical Alerts

Rcopia 4 has a variety of clinical alerts within the system to ensure that you have information that
may be pertinent in the prescribing process. Below is the list of all the clinical alerts within Rcopia 4: 

  • Drug-Drug Interactions
  • Drug-Allergy Interactions
  • Drug-Diagnoses Interactions
  • Pregnancy
  • Lactation
  • Dose Check
  • Duplicate Therapy
  • Geriatric Precautions
  • Pediatric Precautions

The most common are Drug-Drug alerts and Allergy alerts.
