How long is a patient's Medication History available?
- You can obtain a patient's medication history for up to 1 year.
Who can access Medication History?
- Medication history can only be accessed by clinical staff and provider accounts.
The practice must have at least one active provider.
Where does Medication History come from?
- Pharmacy Network vendor receives medication information from two sources (learn more by visiting Where Does Medication History Come From?):
- Pharmacy Fill data
- Payer Claims information
How do I pull a patient's Medication History?
- To pull a patient’s medication history, perform the following steps:
1. From the patient summary page, within the Medications widget, then click the Show Medication History button.

2. Use the drop-down list to select the appropriate time period.

3. The search results will display (as seen below). You can click the icon to the left to see a more detailed record of the patient's medication history.
You can add any of the prescriptions that appear in the patient's medication history to their active medications. To do so, click the checkbox next to the desired prescription, then click Add Medication.
