iPrescribe: How to Add New Patients

This article shows how to add a new patient in iPrescribe.  

Steps to Add a New Patient 

Step 1:  From the home page, tap New Rx.

Step 2:  Tap the Add New Patient button at the top of your screen.

Step 3:  The Patient Details page has tabs for 'Some' or 'All' fields to complete your patient's information; it is recommended to select 'All' for a complete profile.  Required fields are indicated by a red asterisk. 

  • The Some tab shows the general demographic information for your patient

  • The All tab allows you to enter all details for your patient, broken down by type of demographic information.

Step 4:  Once all required information is entered, the Create Patient button will turn green and you can save your patient's profile.

  • You will get a pop up confirming the patient was added.

Step 5:  Now that you have successfully added your patient, you will be redirected to your patient's profile where you can edit or add patient details.
