Manage Your EPCS Tokens

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how the different ways you can manage your EPCS tokens electronically:

However, to do so, you must first navigate to the page that allows you to manage all of your tokens electronically in your application.

Navigating To Your EPCS Token Management Page

Start on your EPCS Prescriber Dashboard, then follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Sign in with your credentials using your NPI and Passphrase. Then, click Next.

Alternatively, you can click Token Management under Utilities on the Rcopia website.

Step 2: Click the Tokens tab at the top, or click the Manage Tokens button at the page's bottom right.

You are now on the Token Management page.

Adding New Tokens

Step 1: Click the Add New Tokens button and enter the fields marked with an asterisk:

  • Token Manufacturer: Choose OneSpan or Symantec
  • Token Issuer: DrFirst
  • Token Type: 
      • OTP HARD TOKEN (key fob)
      • OTP SOFT TOKEN (VIP Access)
  • Token Name: Nickname for the token to help identify it (Ex. “iPhone token,” “key fob,” etc.).
  • Serial Number (S/N) or Credential ID
      • If using a Symantec HARD token (keyfob): enter the Serial Number (S/N) on the back of the token without any spaces.
      • If using a OneSpan HARD token(keyfob): enter the Serial Number (S/N), the long string of numbers on the back of the token without any dashes.
      • If using the Symantec VIP Access app SOFT token: enter the Credential ID that appears at the top of the screen without any spaces.

The Serial Number Format is:

  • VIP Access: SYMC########### or SYMD########### or VSST###########
  • Symantec Hard Token: AVT########### or FT###########
  • OneSpan: ###########
  • OTP (One Time Password): The number generated on the hard token or the Security Code from the VIP Access app.

Step 2: Click Save. Your token is now attached.

Disabling Tokens

Step 1: Click Disable in the Action column.

Step 2: Select the Reason for disabling the token and click Disable.

Step 3: Your selected token is now disabled.

Reactivating Tokens

Step 1: Click Enable in the Action column. Then, enter your OTP (One-Time Password) from the token and click Activate Tokens

Doing so will populate the inactive token credentials under Active Two Factor Authentication Token.
